Where we help
- Annual price reviews and productivity commitments
- Long-term agreements and master supply agreements: terms, volume commitments, index clauses, capacity reservations
- Price-increase requests citing inflation, labor, energy, or tariffs
- Tooling settlements and ownership disputes
- Claims and recovery: quality escapes, premium freight, line-down costs
- Sole-source situations where price leverage is thin and the deal has to be built from other things the supplier values
How we prepare
Every negotiation starts with a fact pack: should-cost or cost-breakdown analysis, index movements since the last price, the supplier's financial position and capacity utilization, alternatives and switching costs, and what each side actually needs. From that we build a leverage map, an opening position, a target, and a walk-away, with the trade-offs agreed internally before the first call.
For price-increase requests we separate what is real (documented index movement, a contractual escalator) from what is opportunistic, and respond with a number and a mechanism rather than a negotiation about feelings.
What you get
- A negotiation pack with leverage map, target, and walk-away
- Draft term language for LTAs, index clauses, and capacity commitments
- Role-play before the session and live support during it
- A written record of agreed terms and follow-ups
